We are a Southern California breeder of registered AKC English Bulldogs.  We fell in love with bulldogs 6 years ago, when we bought our first girl, Lizzy.  She was a classic bulldog and stole our hearts as soon as we met her.  The day we bought her she came to us and acted as if she had known us her entire life.  She even seemed more excited to see us (strangers), than we were to see her.

We strive at improving the bulldog breed by careful selection of breeding compatibility.  We check pedigrees so there is no line breeding and absolutely no in-breeding within our bloodlines.  With several health problems plaguing this breed, we believe that line-breeding and/or in-breeding only compounds these problems.  We check the background of previous litters to see what traits are being passed on by which parent.  We breed for healthy dogs as health is the most important trait to be passed on.  Too many breeders are allowing health problems to continue in their lines and passing these issues on from generation to generation by breeding parents who are not compatible.  The unfortunate part is that the buyer is often unaware of what they are getting.  Time and time again, we hear of someone who purchased a bulldog and the puppy is sick or has some kind of problem.  The buyer was not informed by the breeder of the problems or the possible problems of a bulldog.
